Born in Jamaica, West Indies, and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Marvin R. Marriott developed an early love of reading, mathematics, and science. He spent more than three decades with MTA New York City Transit before retiring as a Director in the Office of System Safety.
His professional experience in transportation operations, accident investigation, emergency response, regulatory compliance, and safety helped shape his interest in technology, human behavior, and critical decision-making. Noah’s Arc, his first novel, brings those interests together in a thought-provoking story about survival, sacrifice, faith, and humanity’s uncertain future.
